Beachside Retreat West Inlet
Beachside Retreat West Inlet is a waterfront nature retreat, Land for Wildlife and Maine-Anjou cattle property, close to Stanley, in the far northwest of Tasmania. Here guests can enjoy contemporary, self-contained accommodation, direct access to a secluded beach and a private, safe place to unwind.
Choose from a self-catering, beachfront ecocabin or luxury nature cabin, sited on the frontal sand dunes overlooking the sea, just for couples. A spacious 3-bedroom spa lodge, adjacent to the homestead, caters for another 2 couples or 5 guests. To ensure privacy, only 15 persons are accommodated on the property. Guests with special needs are most welcome.
Collect fresh wild oysters for breakfast, swim, fish, beachcomb, explore the nature trails or take the beach walk into Stanley. Identify the eagles and 
other endangered bird species. This is a bird-watcher's paradise. Take a farm walk to see the Maine-Anjou cattle or relax and enjoy a glass of Tasmanian wine on your private deck overlooking the sea. At the end of the day, admire the magnificent sunsets. Observe nature up close, as possum and pademelon emerge timidly from the shadows. Listen to the birds settling down for the night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Full and half day, four-wheel drive nature tours are operated by your hosts. Scenic helicopter flights of the coastline, offshore islands and Tarkine wilderness can be arranged from the property. Bookings are essential for all tours.
