Farmer Markets – North West Tasmania

Here in Tasmania at farmers markets, you can enjoy a wonderful, relaxed community environment and sample the freshest products direct from the producers and makers. Converse with the local people, enjoy a homemade, morning or afternoon tea or light luncheon, whilst browsing numerous stalls, some permanent and undercover.

Burnie Farmers Market
Hand made products, arts and crafts, fresh local produce. Meet the farmers who grow it. Outdoor cappuccino bar. First and third Saturdays of the month, from 8.30 to 1200, at the Showgrounds, Wivenhoe, Burnie.

Claude Road Market, Sheffield
Here you can find fresh organic fruit and vegetables, garden and farm produce and locally made preserves, curry pastes, jams and sauces.
Every three months, on the third Saturday of the month 9am until 3pm.

Devonport Farmers Market
Fresh farm produce, plants, homemade fare and local handmade crafts.
Takes place at the Devonport Showgrounds fortnightly, on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, from 8.30am to 12.00.

Don Village Market
Outdoor and undercover stalls are available, catering for approximately 50 stalls. Exhibiting homespun goods and fresh produce, through to the garden enthusiasts. Opposite Don River Railway, every Sunday.

Latrobe Village Market
Antiques, crafts, fresh produce and home made preserves. Handcrafted jewellery, herbs, organic produce and second hand goods. Street market every Sunday, 9 to 2pm. Opposite Council Chambers, Gilbert Street.

Northdown Market
Browse collectables or choose from the selection of fresh, locally-grown produce, handmade crafts, and home-baked goods. Second Saturday of each month from 9:30am in the Northdown Anglican Church Hall.

Penguin Market
200 stalls under cover, featuring fresh produce, fine Tasmanian woodwork, jewellery, fashion, giftware, craft and home wares. International food court, live entertainment. Every Sunday.

Wilmot Country Market – Wilmot Town Hall, Wilmot.
Indoor and outdoor stalls with fresh produce, locally made jams, preserves, patisserie, honey, olive oil, art and crafts. Refreshments and entertainment. 9am – 2pm Wilmot Town Hall. First Saturday of every season.

Wynyard Foreshore Market and Car Boot Sales
1st and 3rd Sundays along the foreshore East Wynyard 8AM TILL 1.30PM Variety of antiques, collectables, books, brica-brac, plants, home cooking, jams, honey, and much much more!
